Small, elegant and colourful, this is a graceful and royally popular breed. Outgoing, friendly, bold and spirited, it is no surprise they were bred to herding dogs! Corgi’s are loyal to their family, and very loving too. But this is an intelligent breed that needs to keep busy, and can be a little bossy, making them better suited to a home with older children.
They can be easy to train as they are eager to learn, but that intelligence can make them strong willed. Confidence is needed when training a Corgi. They have a lot of energy, and need at least an hour of exercise per day, including walks, run and playtime. This breed has a dense, double coat that does require regular grooming. A typical lifespan is 12-15 years.
