Moscow Watchdog
Big, bold and strongly built, the Moskovskaya Storodzevay is one of the gentle giants of the dog world. Very easy going, relaxed and relentlessly loyal, it is a wonderful family guardian. It makes a good family dog, best suited for a home with older children, and definitely a home with a garden.
Early socialization is key for this breed, to get used to people and dogs, and thankfully it is an easier breed to train, and is often eager to learn. Occasionally they can be stubborn. They have moderate exercise needs, with a good couple of walks a day needed, with some runs and play in between. They have minimal grooming needs. A typical lifespan is 9-11 years.
