Want to become a host family? as a breeder, it is important that we can maintain our bloodlines so that there is sufficient variation within our breeding dogs. because we work with our heart and our dogs are important to us, but we can only keep a maximum number in our kennel, we are sometimes looking for host families. these can be puppies, older dogs or dogs that we have kept but who ultimately do not like to live in a pack. our vision is to guarantee the quality of life for our dogs, giving all dogs the necessary care, love and attention they need and deserve. that is why we choose to work with host families, where the dogs live like gods in france. this also allows us to work in a more targeted manner with a smaller pack and guarantee a fun and healthy environment for all our dogs. what does this mean for you? you will receive a new family member without paying a purchase price. the dog lives with you and will be allowed to live there for the rest of his/her life. as long as the dog is active in our breeding program, the ownership title and pedigree of the kennel remain. the passport states both the kennel and the host family. at the end of the active period, all this will be transferred free of charge to the name of the host family. all costs regarding shows, medical aspects (supplements during pregnancy, ultrasound, etc.) related to breeding are at our expense. all other medical costs (e.g. annual vaccinations) are for the host family. we work with a trial period so that both dog and host family can get used to each other and see if it is a match. if, for some reason, you can no longer act as a host family over time, we will take the dog back into our kennel. affordable rates for grooming, purchasing food and possibly holiday care at our kennel. we guide you throughout the entire process in terms of care, nutrition and education. what are our conditions in the host family program? you prefer not to live too far from us, as occasional trips to our vet are necessary, mating needs to take place, possible shows and preparation for this, etc. etc. we reserve the right to determine how long a dog is active in our program, which includes not having it neutered/spayed without our permission. of course, breeding our own dogs is prohibited. mating takes place in the kennel and with males chosen by us. we breed both domestic and show dogs, which means that they must be fully socialized. this can only be achieved with your dedication and commitment. the diet must be in accordance with our guidelines to ensure that they receive the necessary nutrients and remain in top condition. this means, among other things, that the same food is given that we provide in the kennel. we expect our host families to provide the necessary coat and medical care (not related to breeding) for our dogs. mutual trust is of course necessary as we have a close bond with our host families does this seem like something for you? My goal is to breed a stable nervous system, healthy, versatile, smart show aussies. We are excited that you are considering joining our furry family! Here at Winstead, we will strive to produce outstanding Australian Shepherds that are an asset to the breed and a treasure to their families. Each one of our litters are special to us and a tremendous amount of time, research and thought goes into every one of them. In each litter we always plan on keeping at least 1 puppy to show and carry on our program with and the rest of the puppies are offered to loving homes.

Győződj meg róla, hogy a választott fajta biztosan megfelel-e az életmódodnak. Aktív életet élsz? Gyerekek? Allergia? Van udvarod? Kiállításra is szeretnél járni? Ezek és ehhez hasonló kérdések segítenek megválaszolni, hogy biztosan a megfelelő kutyafajtát választottad-e.
Tájékozódj a választott fajta egészségügyi problémáiról és olyan szülőktől válassz kölyköt akik megfelelő egészségügyi szűrésekkel rendelkeznek.
Nézd meg a szülők fotóját és kiállítási eredményeit is! Nem csak akkor fontos lépés ha tenyésztésre vagy kiállításra választasz kutyát ezt sose feledd! A jó kiállítási eredmények azt is tükrözik, hogy a szülők a fajta reprezentatív képviselői küllemben és karakterben egyaránt. Ebből megítélheted, hogyan fog kinézni a kiskutya mikor felnőtté válik.
Egy kölyökről 6-8 hetes korában kapjuk a legtisztább képet, hogy mit várhatunk tőle felnőtt korában. Legyen szó akár a külleméről, akár a viselkedéséről.

VÁLASSZ OKOSAN ÉS FELKÉSZÜLTEN

Tenyésztővel kapcsolatos értékelések minősége és száma
A kiskutya és a szülők leírása, tenyésztő általi jellemzése
A szülők egészségügyi szűrései és kiállítási eredményei
Kapj pontos képet arról, hogy mit tartalmaz a kölyök ára (oltások, féreghajtás, chip, törzskönyv, stb..)

Miután alaposan megvizsgáltad a kiskutyákat a fenti kritériumok alapján, mentsd el kedvenceidet a Kívánság listádba.
